Anja Carron – Strategic Orientation for Planetary Health & Systemic Transition

“Change requires an inclusive identity and an inner compass of ecological and ethical principles—especially when navigating the tensions between global inequality, climate crisis, and technological acceleration.”

Dr. h.c. Anja Carron is a strategist and internationally recognised expert in pancontinental cluster systems, circular and regenerative economies, and planetary health–oriented transition governance. Her contribution lies in bridging Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, connecting biodiversity-based value chains, trade, innovation, and governance with indigenous intelligence and long-term systemic resilience.

Trained in international, European, trade, maritime, and human rights law (Passau, Cardiff, with further studies across Europe and Hong Kong), she brings legal and governance precision to complex institutional and economic environments. Her professional background includes IPO and investor-relations mandates in the bioeconomy and renewable energy sectors, board-level advisory roles, and strategic work at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and finance.

She is Co-Founder and President Europe (strategic, non-executive) of INLAMOBI, contributing to the strategic architecture and international positioning of the European Blue Valley Cluster for Fragrances, Flavours, AYUSH, and Tea. The initiative is among the first Public–Private–People–Planet (4P) cluster models linking South and Southeast Asia’s ecological and cultural assets with European capabilities in biotechnology, bioeconomy innovation, and sustainable trade. It is designed to translate biodiversity-based and indigenous knowledge into future-ready industrial value chains, while supporting skills development and inclusive value creation.

Anja Carron is also the founder of THEIA International, an internationally active learning and leadership platform advancing Circular Intelligence and intergenerational leadership models. THEIA International has been recognised as a UNESCO Best Practice in Germany. Through her initiatives, she has enabled youth and women across regions to engage with systems thinking, regenerative leadership, and innovation-driven transition pathways.

A German–French national, Dr. Carron has worked across more than 40 countries. She is an international keynote speaker and thought leader, regularly invited to contribute to high-level dialogues on cluster innovation, bioeconomy systems, planetary health, indigenous knowledge integration, gender-inclusive transition models, and cross-continental trade and cooperation.

Her work has received international recognition, including Global Woman Leader in Trade, Woman of the Decade, Outstanding Leader in Global Education, and a nomination for the Marion Dönhoff Prize. She is known for building platforms where resilience, innovation, and long-term value creation converge.
